The grades after the reviews are not overall grades of the places, but just of that particular meal, and I may revise things a little between my original post and their collected form.

Omelettry: lunch with Ms. P, had veggie burger on rye toast with side of veg chili, she had pancakes and fruit. Good stuff. 3.5/5

Chuy's @ 183: veggie enchiladas sans cheese. Potato & tomato filling with tangy tomatillo sauce & blue corn tortillas. Great service. 3.5/5

Food Shui: just confirmed that all rice bowl sauces are veg. Pho has beef broth, but rest is safe. Thai Basil bowl is today's treat. 4/5

Opal Divine's Marina: Hippy Benedict combines avocado, tomato, sprouts with poached egg and hollandaise. Good, but I prefer scrambled. 3/5

Bear Rock Cafe: I go here because its a nice walk. Tomato fennel soup is OK, garden sandwich was so-so. 2/5

Food Shui: ginger bowl w/ fried tofu, rice omitted. A nice, quick lunch on Parmer, love the chili paste squeeze bottles, I'm a regular. 4/5

TacoDeli @ Gracy Farms: torta sandwich with black beans, jalapeño paste, grilled veggies, salsa = yum! Ask for veg rice and pintos. 4.5/5

Satay: Love the Singaporean Laksa curry soup with tofu, a lunchtime fav. Menu does a good job of pointing out veg-possible dishes. 4/5

Threadgill's @ N. Lamar: five veg plate is good deal. Love the Texas caviar (black-eyed peas, peppers, onions), fried okra is so-so, 3.5/5
