"Dog Almighty" Gets Mightier
At lunch today, I was pleased to see a couple of signs posted at Dog Almighty, the veggie-friendly hot dog place on Burnet Road.
SIgn 1: Dog Almighty SOUTH is now OPEN! Located at 3005 Lamar, just south of Manchach, next to Changos. 512-912-1105.Sign 2: Free Beer Wednesdays at Dog Almighty: Every week from 4 to 8!! Come eat some hot dogs and play some ping pong. Beers on us.
The first will make my 78704 and lower readers happy, while the second will make my beer-drinking readers happy.
In other Burnet Road news, I found out that Sampaio now has a full vegetarian menu available for both lunch and dinner featuring several veggie entrees and salads. No more having to get your server to check with the kitchen to see what they can do. Awesome.

I'm curious to see your review of Titaya's. Ms J and I stopped by for the first time a couple of weeks back. It was the middle of a weekend afternoon and we went in after seeing a reasonable number of people inside for the time. I forget what we had but I remember that our bellies left happy.
er. please tell me that the free beer extends to the -04 location so that i might put it on my permanent schedule every wednesday. please?
