2006 Green Chile Fest Arrives
Chuy's has their annual Green Chile Fest featuring freshly roasted peppers from Hatch, New Mexico again. Looking at their online menu, the only vegetarian special is the the Veggie Banditos, an appetizer plate of flour tortillas fried with cheese, green chiles and our veggie mix made with onions, carrots, corn, mushrooms, garlic and cilantro and served with Chuy’s Chimichurri Sauce. They do have two special desserts: the Green Chile Brownie, a chocolate brownie made with chiles and served with ice cream and a green chile glaze, and the Empanada Fresa, an empanada stuffed with strawberries, green chiles, and cream cheese, topped in a pecan caramel sauce.
I'll probably be going to the north 183 location for lunch on Tuesday, so I'll report back if there's anything else veggie friendly that's not listed online.
