I have not been here yet, but notice they have gelatin on the menu, even though they're vegan. Thoughts?
Nu Age is an amazing restaurant!
I spoke with the owner over a month ago, and he said that they are all vegan - having replaced the honey with agave nectar (or something like that). I haven't noticed gelatin on the menu.
Their soy tenders are out of this world!
Nu Age Cafe is off-the-charts delicious! Even my carnivore husband loves the food, especially the Seitan dishes and the Sizzling Soy. Most dishes are pure vegan (all gelatin and honey have been removed). There are 5 or 6 items that have a slight trace of whey (a dairy product) but those are now indicated on the menu as such. They also have many gluten-free dishes as well. The main entrees and salads are large enough for sharing. The Nu Age House Salad is especially good!
