Veg Out! Austin

This Vietnamese coffee house and bakery is located less than a mile west of Mopac on Spicewood Springs Road (nee Anderson Mill). Their menu consists of a wide selection of coffees and pasteries, plus a variety of sandwiches, soups, vermicelli, and rice dishes. Their Pho Tofu has a veggie herbal broth and nice, small chunks of lightly fried tofu. The vermicilli and rice dishes with tofu are less inspired. Definately get the special with the tofu spring roll, which is huge, tightly wrapped, and very minty, with a good peanut sauce. They also offer a Humanitarian sandwich with avocodo and bean sprouts, not too shabby. Their crossiants are also great, large and buttery. ($6-$10)
