One of the odder choices on the list, this barbeque joint off Guadalupe at 30th Street is refreshingly vegetarian friendly, with an assortment of black bean and vegetable dishes. Their black bean tacos are huge and well stuffed, and their home fries come fresh out of the frying pan. My friends tell me that their BBQ meat is very good too, so this is a perfect compromise place to take your die-hard carnivores. ($8)
